COVID-19 Tyrone Garden Company Hygiene and Social Distancing Procedure
We are closely following all advice and guidance given by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and Australia’s Department of Health, regarding precautions that are needed to minimise risks concerned with the virus.
Our sub contractors have been advised of the following effective immediately:
Not to come to work if they feel unwell.
To wear a mask at all times where possible.
To wash and sanitize their hands often.
No more than 5 people on the job at any one time.
To cover if they cough or sneeze.
Not to share anything including work tools, vehicles, PPE and EWP.
They have also been advised that:
There is to be no more than one person in each vehicle at any one time.
To keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres from each other at all times.
All work planning will include social distancing.
Communication with clients will only be done by phone.
The use of our wood chipper is probably the most prevalent time that they would be in close proximity of each other. So effective immediately only one person is to use the chipper at a time. If two people are required to use the wood chipper, they are to feed from the opposite sides of the feed tray and pick up green waste from opposite sides of the pile.
